About Me

Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, I grew up as child wanted to be a builder like Bob the Builder. It wasn't until I got my first laptop that my world changed forever. Every day after school I would tinker around on my laptop figuring out what everything did and why. I wanted to know as much as I could about my laptop. I soon got my first iPod, and I did the same thing. I sit around on for hours messing around with it. Soon I was able to help family and friends with their phones, tablets, and laptops. I still to this day have people asking me for help and I love helping them, especially setting up a new phone.

It came time for me to figure out what I wanted to go to college for, and what I wanted to do as a career. I knew I wanted it to do something with computers, but I didn't exactly know what yet. Well one day my brother and I decided to make a website with no previous knowledge of how to make one. We struggled but eventually got some things to work. I knew from that moment that I wanted to do this as a career. It was so interesting and I had a lot of fun doing it. I talked to some of my dad's friends about it and decided to go to Madison College for Web Development. As I was attending one of their meetings for new students I saw that they had a program for mobile development, and I was very interested in that. I would still do web development and mobile. I was so excited and decided to take that program.

I am very passionate about what I do, and want to learn as much as I can to help other people enjoy technology as much as I do. I have successfully created over five websites and have two of my own app on the App Store. I also created another app for a company to use that is not available on the App Store. In my spare time I work on other websites and apps that may never make it online or in the App Store, but they are great for keeping my mind sharp on what I have learned in class and to keep me learning new things.

Other Hobbies

When I'm not in the office coding I love to play basketball. When I was in college I made it a point to get to the gymnasium every day to either shoot around or play with the other guys. It helps clear my mind when I'm stuck on a project, and overall a good way to sweat and practice on my shooting

Another hobby of mine is hiking. On the weekends if the weather is good I love to go to the state park 10 min from my house and hike on the trails. Sometimes I pack a lunch and eat that half way through my hike. Just being out in nature is awesome and changes up the scenery from being in a plain office all day.
